Canon EOS T1i

How I wished that I had waited as Canon are on the edge of launching their new inheritor to it, the Canon EOS T1i, which is out very shortly. The XSi is a superb camera for the price and actually builds the bridge between non-professional paparazzo and pro snapper well. I did not believe they could improve on it to be truthful. But they have. Oh, how well they have. The EOS T1i delivers so much for its cost. Canon have incorporated lot of features found in the EOS 5d Mk II ( which generally costs well over $2500 ) and packed it into the body of the T1i. And guess what? The dimensions are the same as the XSi before it ( save the weight being 5g heavier ).

So what does the T1i have over the XSi? The T1i has 15.1 megapixels ( matched against just 12.2 ). More complicated DIGIC four processor ( compared to the DIGIC III on the XSi ). The ISO range is expandable to 12,800 compared to just 1600. Video shooting mode - you can use it like a camcorder, shooting up to twelve mins ( or 4gb ) of full HD video! HDMI connection for viewing and playback on HDTV. One truly special feature that interests me significantly is that the T1i has a great feature for newbs - the vehicle creative area. When set to one of those areas, the camera will steer you in regards to what settings to use via the LCD.

Essentially , the automobile creative mode is like having a teacher built in! I'm almost convinced to trade in my old XSi and buy the T1i only for this feature alone! Plenty of the other standard features of Canon cameras are still there, like live view, self cleaner sensors, dust remove and so on and storage is on SD or SDHC cards. Outline : I'm anticipating the releasing of this camera in early May and must talk my spouse into letting me to upgrade from my existing XSi. This actually appears like a cracking camera. It seems like Canon has again made a great jump and incorporated so many new technologies into such a little body and low cost. I cannot think about what they'll do next, though wi-fi transfers and printing would be good.

Need a fast connection as the very best quality RAW pictures will be well above 20mb. As I mentioned above, the XSi looked to have bridged the distance between non-professional and pro, but the T1i appears to beat that by including an inbuilt mentor! There isn't anything worse than being out on the field after reading something, but when you want that information, you cannot remember. The T1i will prompt you with it's vehicle creative mode.
I'd love my XSi to be in a position to do that.
